Even More Little Women quilts

I promised you some more show and tell of our Little Women meeting. So without further ado, here you go:

I was going to start a "What's on my Design Wall Monday post" and here it is Tuesday, and I'm not ready for it yet! Maybe I'll call it Design Wall Wednesday...I have been making 4 inch spool blocks and they are so fun. So that will have to be a bit of a teaser for you.

Till next time, keep stitchin!

More Little Women Show and Tell

Here are some more photos of our first Group 11 meeting Saturday, April 14. We had a great send-off to Group 10 with really wonderful show and tell. Great job, Karen, with your projects! Two Lizzie's Little Quilts, Courthouse Steps, Half Square Triangle Challenge, Vintage Memories, and a mini star quilt she finished in place of Berry Nice.

I think that's Colleen hiding behind her Lizzie quilt, and another shy quilter (Marla?) behind her take of the Half Square Triangle Challenge. Isn't it gorgeous in those red fabrics? If you missed my post from Saturday, April 14, there are more Little Women quilt photos. And I have even more to post over the next few days.

Till then, keep stitchin!  Mary

Little Women - April Meeting

If they gave out grades for club meetings, I think my friends would agree today's was an A+! We started our Jo Morton Group 11 club with a fun easy quilt--Just Rosie; wonderful food--thank you Charlotte, Celestia and Joy; and incredible show and tell. "Just Rosie" is this cute little pink/cream/brown 4 patch strippy quilt that will be our first project.

A few weeks ago I told the gals we would have a few door prizes for those who brought quilted and bound Jo Morton projects for show and tell. There were so many wonderful quilts that I am going to post them over the next few days. So, without further ado, here are some of our projects.

That's Becky with her wonderful show and tell. She won the top door prize too, which included among other things, a $15 gift certificate to JoJos Quilt Shop. Great job, Becky! By the way, the quilt in back of Becky is "General's Wives" which is one of the block-of-the-month projects at JoJos.

Welcome to our new group members to Little Women, and if you are new to my blog, I am happy you found us! I hope you enjoy miniature quilts as much as we do. Till next time, keep stitchin!  Mary
